Government of India’s Solar Mission got another push on 19th January 2016 when the record solar power tariff achieved last year reached another landmark of Rs 4.34 per unit. This achievement was also made possible, through a special ‘electronic tender-cum-reverse auction process’ conducted by NTPC using the portal of TCIL, a licensed Service Provider of ElectronicTender.
