Solar tariffs plunge by 15%, set record low at Rs 2.00 per unit.

On 23rd November 2020, India achieved another spectacular success in its endeavour to build infrastructure for Renewable Energy -- Solar Energy Corporation of India’s (SECI) auction for 1,070 MW of solar projects in Rajasthan achieved a new record-low tariff of ₹2/ kWh. This tariff is about 15.3% lower than SECI’s previous record low tariff of ₹2.36 achieved in June 2020. Like various other previous records achieved by multiple government agencies in India since November 2015, this record too was achieved using the cutting-edge e-Procurement/ e-Auction software of ElectronicTender, on the portal https://www.Bharat-ElectronicTender.com, which is managed by its service-provider in India, ISN ElectronicTender Services (Corporate Website: www.isn-ets.com).
